Captivating and immersive, Wild Ice is an interactive installation inspired by childhood memories of the wonders of winter. Drawing from two distinctly winter occurrences - the freezing of our breath and ice bubbles that form in lakes across Alberta - viewers are invited to breathe into the installation to activate a cascade of illumination.
The pillars of bubbles come to life using blue tinted bottles donated from local bottle depots, forming captivating glass ice bubbles and contributing to an eco-friendly process.
