COME OVER TO MY HOUSE Calgary North East Arts Initiative
In envisioning this gallery space the goal was to cultivate a sense of community engagement. The varied cast glass houses, each unique in shape and size are nestled in the heart of the mini gallery space enveloped by mirrors. The designs intent is to invite viewers to come close up, peer inside, and when doing so they encounter a reflection of themselves, symbolizing their participation and presence within the community. Buildings are just buildings, but we add people we have a community.
